Lesson Planning Teaching Skills

Microcredential

Lesson Planning

Plan purposeful lessons that engage every learner.

The choices you make before a lesson, from the aim you set to the order of your activities, shape how much your learners take part and how much they learn. This microcredential helps you make those choices with confidence, so your plans respond to the people in your classroom and not only to the page.

Course Overview

In this practical four-module course, you will learn how to design lessons that are engaging, purposeful, and responsive to the needs of your learners, from writing clear aims and sequencing activities to understanding learner differences and making informed planning decisions, so you can move beyond simply filling classroom time and plan with confidence, clarity, and impact.
